Dr. Julie MacGuire provides comprehensive eye examinations.  She is able to diagnose ocular diseases including, but not limited to: dry eye, ocular allergies, glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and diabetic and hypertensive retinopathy. Contact lens fittings are also available, including fittings for those patients requiring toric and multi-focal lenses.

Dr. Julie MacGuire has been with Dreyfus Opticians since January 2009. She received her Doctorate of Optometry from The New England College of Optometry in 2006. She also holds her B.A. degree in Neuroscience from Connecticut College, with honors. Dr. MacGuire received her clinical training through various VA Medical centers and community health centers in the Boston area. She received the award of clinical honors during each clinical rotation. Dr. MacGuire has been providing primary eye care since 2006 including comprehensive eye examinations and contact lens fittings.

Dr. MacGuire is available for appointments Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and one Saturday per month.
